Wormwood - Effect Herb
Wormwood has a long history of use, especially throughout Europe. Well-known as the special ingredient in Absinthe- it is thought to cause mild hallucinations and create a peaceful and calming feeling. It is also commonly used to relax and soothe muscles, giving relief to menstrual cramps and muscle pains. When smoked, the effect is felt quicker but is also shorter. Brewing wormwood into a tea will prolong its effects.

Effect Herbs These herbs are smoked for the way they make someone feel or the effect they may otherwise have on them. Effects are anecdotal, or of historical note, not a promise or a cure. Effect herbs can generally be smoked on their own if desired, but we recommend mixing them into a base herb, as the smoke may not be pleasant or hold an ember.
